As acknowledgement of the important industrial history of The Newtown Silos, elements of the original building fabric and features have been preserved including the following:

• Timber Bins timber posts and substructure
• Sandstone retaining wall adjoining northern boundary, visible from caretaker’s office

• interpretive painted areas on Silos and Bins walls and common area floor
• grain handling machinery and other equipment
• signage
